Every year i sit down with my boys and I create fun imaginative composites of my own kids WITH them. They help me decide what character they want to be, what is included in their scenes, and then I place it all together for them to help them make their dream image come to life. It is real life dress up and a really fun time!

My favorite thing to do is travel and create memories with my kids and family. I take thousands of landscape photographs while we enjoy beautiful sight and explore new activities and places.
This valuable family time is priceless to me, and i am so thankful to have a husband who embrasses this love (and who stops for me every few hours to take photographs).

We live outside when the weather is nice. There is something so powerful about enjoying the crisp air, sunlight, and outdoors. If we could cancel all activities and just live each weekend doing yard work, having campfires, biking on trails, and watching the kids play outside.... I would do it in a heartbeat!
Being able to live out in the country has been such a blessing, and i embrace every second I can with my kids wanting to be here with me.

Tarah is the pinnacle of photojournalist AND lifestyle photography! She has this eye for light and color that create true art. We moved away from KC two years ago and we go back each year because no one else can get photos that I want hung all over my home and on my Christmas card. Her edits are always so tasteful and lovely. If you’re looking for stuffy, posed photos, Wildwood is not for you. But if you want shots of your family being authentically themselves, having fun, laughing and loving life, there is no one better.
