We pick the perfect dream dress, and scene... than we get together to create some magic! Bring you kids creative interests and dreams to life.
These sessions are unique because even though i help make the final product cohesive and beautiful, I LOVE taking input from your kids own ideas and imagination. We can chat and create the perfect scene together for a session filled with magical fun!

Halloween starts in our house in September and the kids enjoy their costumes daily. They live in their costumes throughout all of October like they were their own personal uniform. I mean why jump on the trampoline as a normal kid when you can jump as a ninja or superhero?
Let's create a fun piece of art to hang in their playroom that puts them as their favorite character!

magical Santa Sessions

Does your kiddo cry around santa? Create a magical holiday scene without the fuss of your kids being scared, and without the long line.
These sessions are a normal photo session. Come dressed up in your favorite holiday gear or let me help you rent a fun holiday outfit... but eliminate the stress of actually having a stranger in a red sut around. I will just create a scene that allows up to add santa in!

Let your kids dream up an live their own fairytale. These magical composite sessions allow your kids to see themselves as the strong characters they love. What I love about fine art images is the chance to take the beauty and reality of a shot and surround it with the whimsy and soul of imagination to create something that may as well be made of dreams.
The joy I find in hand-editing each unique portrait into a piece that represents who the subject is and looks stunning displayed in their home is remarkable. Let’s display your child’s magic with a dream-brought-to-life fine art print that will take your breath away for years to come!

Simply fill out the form below. You will receive some more info from me via email that describes the process in more detail, but here is a little glimpse of what to expect once your session is booked.
First you will reserve a place in my calendar to chat via zoom about what art you love, what you currently have around your home, and what you hope to get out of our session. This is also the time where we can figure out dress rentals, locations, props, and all the details.

2. Composite Session
Next we will have your photo session. If you choose to get makeup and hair done, GREAT(it isn't required but definitely helps to have your hair fancy)! I have a list of some great local business owners who provide awesome services, you can schedule that prior to our session time.
Than you simply show up, get ready in whatever attire we previously discussed, and we take some child-led/ laid back posed shots. These sessions allow for a lot of between poses down time and flexibility, so that just means we have more time to get comfortable so you are natural loving our time together. From ninja moves to Encanto dance parties, whatever will help you or your child relax can be incorporated into our time together.
After your session you will get a link to view your proofs. These are not the final images, and will just be a way for us to look through which poses you love, and which photos you want to use for you final products.
You will get an online gallery where you can mark your favorites, or if you would rather go through them together we can meet up in person or over zoom to pick them too.
3. Proofs
Once you picked the proofs that you love, we will sit down and chat about what you want in your home. I can either come to your home and see your space in real life, or we can chat via zoom.
You will be able to see a variety of product layouts and choose exactly the right piece for your home. Once we decide what products to order for your home I start creating your custom one of a kind heirloom art!
Leave the measuring and designing to me, and take things OFF your to-do list.
4. Post session ordering!
Than once your custom pieces are created, I get them sent to me. This is so I can look over every detail and make sure your piece is EXACTLY how it should be.
Once I approve your product you get them hand delivered right to your doorstep. Each custom product you order includes a digital social sharing file for you to also have.

Each custom MAGICAL session includes dress/costume rental fees. Every composite session includes custom sets, studio fees, and personalized fine art consultation AND they also come with a $250 print credit, so the art we create can be displayed proudly in your home. These unique sessions are customized to your style and focus on a final product you will LOVE.
Pricing
Tarah is the pinnacle of photojournalist AND lifestyle photography! She has this eye for light and color that create true art. We moved away from KC two years ago and we go back each year because no one else can get photos that I want hung all over my home and on my Christmas card. Her edits are always so tasteful and lovely. If you’re looking for stuffy, posed photos, Wildwood is not for you. But if you want shots of your family being authentically themselves, having fun, laughing and loving life, there is no one better.
